As a teacher we know there are many benefits to be derived from ballet instruction. We have the opportunity to instill an appreciation for this magnificent art form. In the process, we promote mental and physical discipline, develop grace and poise and generate a deep sense of self-worth. The cooperation and mutual support necessary to stage a performance teaches important life skills.

Mona Meng performs “Dying Swan”

It’s the dream of every instructor to see a student excel and know the thrill of performance. As teachers and professional dancers we know there are great benefits to be derived from ballet instruction. Each day, I have the opportunity to instill an appreciation for this magnificent art form to which I have dedicated the last 46 years of my life.

In the process we:

• promote mental and physical discipline,

• develop grace, poise and posture,

• generate a deep sense of self-worth.

The cooperation and mutual support necessary to stage a performance teaches important life skills.

I wish to thank all my students, parents and supporters for the opportunity to serve our community.
