Naturally, it is the dream of every instructor to see a student excel, to become a principal dancer, to know the thrill of performance that the instructor once knew. However, as teachers we know there are even greater benefits to be derived from the process of ballet instruction. Each day we have the opportunity to instill an appreciation for the magnificent art form to which we have dedicated our lives. In the process we promote the mental and physical discipline of our students, develop their grace and poise and, perhaps most importantly, generate a deep sense of self worth. The cooperation and mutual support necessary to stage a performance teaches important life skills for every child, regardless of their future vocational aspirations.

Perhaps our greatest fortune should be measured in the dedication and support of our parents who have wisely recognized the value of ballet as an esthetically enriching experience for their children. They realize that the disciplines and skills learned in our classes will be generalized throughout their children's educational career, deepening their commitment to knowledge and excellence.
